Rural, Semi Urban and midsized communities have a great need for lithotripsy, but hospitals in these areas do not have the Technology and surgeons for the treatment. This is where the GKSF was initiated as a service which can help the community and provide Urology treatments through Mobile Lithotripsy Unit to the remote and inaccessible areas of the country.
We started with 1 mobile Unit. After receiving immense response and great support from the surgeons and doctors all over India we added one more mobile van. It has been instrumental in creating a revolution by which doctors and small clinics from all over had access to world class mobile lithotripsy services.
The foundation has a team of 130 Surgeons all over Gujarat & Rajasthan who work hand in hand against Urology and kidney related issues. The foundation also runs FREE camps on charity basis all over India to spread awareness about Uro & Stone ailments its reasons and cure.
We have also initiated Uro-Dynamics System and Stone Card.
The Mobile Unit has Spacious Air conditioned Hospital styled interior having a world class lithotripter named ‘Direx with Ultima Generator’, U.P.S (for back up), Anesthesia Trolley, Well-equipped operation theatre for emergency.
